We’re the first company in the world to have certified Language Coaches accredited by the ICF

Efficient Language Coaching

Efficient Language Coaching Ltd. was founded in 2008 by Rachel Marie Paling with the idea of creating a team of like-minded “language coaches” with different professional backgrounds, teaching qualifications or experience as well as coaching qualifications with the object of transferring language knowledge, know-how and experience to clients in various sectors and fields of competence to offer an advanced, efficient and targeted learning of language.

Over the years our team have taken the Language Coaching Certification course to be able to understand how to “coach” languages and become more efficient and focused.

Now for the first time the concept of language coaching has been developed, defined and standardised and ELC is the first language coaching company in the world to have certified Language Coaches accredited by the ICF (International Coach Federation).

Rachel M. Paling

Founder of NeuroHeart Education®, the NeuroHeart Education Foundation & Efficient Language Coaching®. Creator of Neurolanguage Coaching®. Professional Certified Coach, Corporate & Private Language Coach, Neuroscientist, Author & Keynote Speaker

Rachel started teaching English as a Foreign Language to adults over 35 years ago. After obtaining a BA Honours in Law and Spanish (with distinction in spoken Spanish) at the University of Sheffield (UK) she did a Masters in Human Rights and Democratization (EMA) at the University of Padua, Italy and Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany.

She continued with her studies and qualified as a UK Lawyer in 2003, but instead of pursuing a career as a lawyer, she combined her teaching experience, her specialisation in business English and her legal knowledge to coach top executives across Europe. Her professional development continued as she became an ICF PCC Life coach.

The creation of Neurolanguage Coaching® emerged through her experience of teaching languages over the past 35 years. This combined with her own experience of learning languages, namely French, Spanish, Italian, German, and some Catalan, with basics of Arabic and Russian and a hunger to learn more, such as Chinese.

In 2019, Efficient Language Coaching and Neurolanguage Coaching® won the Re-Imagine Education Bronze award in the Science of Learning category. In March 2020, Rachel completed her Masters in Applied Neuroscience and continued to study Neuroscience to develop and enhance her knowledge. In the same year, Brainz Magazine included Rachel in their top 500 Companies, Entrepreneurs, Influential Leaders and Business Owners who are recognized for their entrepreneurial success, achievements or dedication to helping others.

Also in 2020, she developed the NeuroHeart Educational Coach Training which certifies and ICF accredits teachers and educators of all disciplines and through the NeuroHeart Education Foundation wishes to bring this new way of teaching into educational establishments worldwide.

The following year, Rachel completed her Masters in Neuroeducation and Neuropsychology and was delighted to be awarded the Crea Global Award by Brainz Magazine.
In addition, her own personal development as a life coach over 12 years and her burning interest in what we are now discovering through modern neuroscience about the brain – and how the brain functions, reacts and learns – have all contributed to the creation of these methods.

Rachel has trained over 1200 language teachers worldwide, certifying them as Neurolanguage Coaches – certified by taking our training courses which are some of the only language coaching certification courses in the world accredited by International Coach Federation USA.

What people are saying about the book:

Excellently written, this is a clear, concise and reader-friendly introduction to Neurolanguage Coaching. Rachel, as ever, is both informative, and motivating and encourages the teacher to want to move onto new approaches.

…….. I highly recommend it to educators who constantly strive to make a difference in the quality of people’s lives. It’s also great for language learners who would like to know more about the most wonderful, mysterious and fascinating organ – our brain.
